Hey, so nice to meet you
We are the Amsterdam vocal company

A singing school where it’s not just about methods and mechanics, but where you can discover your own unique sound. We exclusively work with conservatory-trained teachers who are fully active in the music industry: as artists, songwriters, or performers. This way, you’ll learn from the real professionals.

  • Multiple student concerts each year
  • No full year sign-ups, we work with 2-month blocks

The World Cup got us looking at our team and wow, what a beautifully mixed bunch we are. Vocal teachers with roots all over the world, plus a few more nationalities that didn’t make it to the tournament this time.

So yeah, the Netherlands going out last night stings a little. But big, big congrats to Morocco and to all the Moroccan-Amsterdammers in our beautiful city. 🇲🇦

And here’s the upside of a team like ours: there are so many other teams to cheer for 😍❤️

Now we’re curious about you: drop your flag(s) in the comments, let’s see how many countries are in the mix! 🌎🌍🌏

What our students say about us

  • “I’ve been a happy member of The AVC for several years now and I always enjoy the lessons so much. It’s great to see that each teacher brings their own focus, which helps me keep developing every time.”
    Marieke Kulk

    Annelot van W.

    Floris Janmaat
  • “Super fun lessons, but also incredibly educational! Truly recommended!!”
    Anna Stroeve

    Michelle de Bruin
  • “Amber is a super fun and enthusiastic singing teacher — very flexible and such a joy to learn from! Highly recommended!!”
    Pien van der Kolk
  • “I’ve learned so much here! I’ve grown enormously in just one year and I’m incredibly grateful for that. If I hadn’t had to stop coming, I would definitely have stayed.”
    Jikke Wouters

  • “That first private lesson felt so daunting — two years on, all I want is to sing, make music and perform! The school is well organised, contact about practical matters is quick and friendly, and I’ve done some really fun performances, including one with a live band. I’d recommend it to anyone!”
    Amber Elbers
  • “Fantastic experience! Really constructive sessions and friendly interactions with vocal coach. Communication was on point and great location for lessons.”
