What to expect from private singing lessons
“Singing lessons? I’d love to but it’s so scary!“ We hear this (and variations on the same theme) all the time. Singing can simply feel… vulnerable. Our teachers know that better than anyone. They too once felt a little shaky as they walked in to their very first singing lesson. So the first step for us is to create a safe space where you can discover your voice!
Whether you’re just starting out or have been singing for years, we focus on what’s already there and what you’d like to develop further. With each singing lesson, we add a little more melody, timing, and vocal technique to your voice. And together, we’ll discover just how much freedom, joy, and expression is hidden inside it.
Our teachers have years of experience and are all professionally trained. They quickly hear where your strengths lie, but also what might still be holding you back. Want to know more about our singing teachers? Here you’ll find everything about our team!
Besides the singing lessons themselves, we also organise multiple student concerts throughout the year, where we create a safe space on stage for you to sing your heart out!
How we work (and why)
Singing is something you do for fun. But: the better you get at it, the more fun it becomes. In fact, when you keep on struggling with that one difficult note, it can even start to feel frustrating.
That is the last thing we want and that’s why we don’t offer single lessons or work with punch cards. To be honest, we just don’t believe in them. A random lesson here and there won’t get you very far. In the end, you mostly waste your time and money, without really making progress.
Instead, we work with fixed schedules and lesson blocks. You can start at any moment for a minimum of one block (8 weeks). Within that block you can decide if you want weekly or bi-weekly singing lessons (8 or 4 singing lessons). Here’s a short recap of things you need to know.
