The magic of singing in a choir
When you sing together with others, something magical happens. Scientific research shows that your heartbeat, breathing and even your brainwaves sync up with the group. Singing together lowers stress levels, boosts your mood, and makes you feel more connected to the people around you.
Whether you’ve been singing for years or it’s your very first time joining a choir, it doesn’t matter. With us, everyone is welcome, no matter your level. We have several choirs, all with their own specific features when it comes to age, level and language. There’s a choir for everyone! See an overview of our choirs below.
All our choirs lessons are at our main location at the Surinameplein in Amsterdam South. At the ground level of creative hub ‘SUP’. Right in the middle of other makers and/or creative entrepreneurs and with a nice cafe just down the hall!

On Monday we have one active choir, with our teacher Julia. Class is in Dutch.
The Southern Belles (Female choir)

Pricing and payment
You dont have to enroll for a full year. We work with 8-week lesson blocks.

How it works when you join a choir
In our choirs the focus really is on having fun singing together in harmony. The repertoire mostly consists of well knows pop songs. (check our Spotify playlist to get a taste)
We like to keep up a good pace. At the start of the year, each lesson begins fresh with a new song. At the end of the lesson, we always make a recording of what we’ve created. Al our choirs have their own Whatsapp group where your teacher will share the recordings, and where you can share fresh ideas for songs! As the year progresses our choirs start to prepare for the choir show! They’ll focus on the songs they like the best and dive a bit deeper into the material.
